The Washington Animal Rescue League is a welcoming place to animals and the people who love them. Since its inception, many programs that help animals in need of shelter and medical attention have been added. These services have gained the League a hard-won sterling reputation for outstanding, consistent services.
At the Washington Animal Rescue League, responsible owners can adopt pets for their homes and get advice on the care of domestic animals.

The shelter is open to visitors Monday thru Friday, 11 am to 3:30 pm and Tuesday and Friday from 5:30 pm to 9 pm. *note: Starting May 16th the shelter will have new hours. Monday - Saturday, 11 am to 3:30 pm, Friday evening 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm and Sunday 12 pm to 3 pm. Come for a visit.
