The NWMAP web site was created to provide information about the impact of changing welfare policies on low-income people; to encourage and assist community monitoring of welfare; and to offer tools and ideas for organizing and advocating for changes in welfare policy that are fundamental to long term family well-being.

The content of the NWMAP web site is a collaborative effort of all NWMAP partners. The site is hosted by the Children's Defense Fund and designed and maintained by the National Coalition for the Homeless. Graphic design is provided by hdmdesigns.

In future months, the NWMAP web site will expand to include more monitoring materials, more findings from local and state studies, and more tips for advocacy and organizing. Please stay tuned for the new additions.
